Haiku 30
There's a difference,
Hearing is not listening -
Congress is tone deaf.
Default's a new tax,
Up interest rates will climb -
They've spent the money.
If old, if female,
If student, if poor, if young -
Government ignores.
Please, Heaven help us,
We're victims of their own greed -
The rich get richer.
Why not holler out :
Get off my back. I am poor.
Stop the whip lashes.
Election Day looms,
This is your chance to speak out -
The ballot is voice.
