Sometimes I wonder,
Will life that we know outlast
Our politicians ?
The Women's World Cup
Went to team play by Japan -
Big names read their press.
"Gone With the Wind" shows
A World entering turmoil -
A tale told of us ?
Serfs may now apply -
The rich have inherited
The Heavens and Earth.
Fifty yard field goal,
Goes thru, win ; misses, then lose -
Simple, close your eyes.
I refuse to wince,
Hurt, physical or mental,
Is part of my life.
