Haiku 29

Haiku 29

Yesterday : Eagle,
Today : Hummingbird, Locust,
Yellow Butterfly.

No June bugs out yet,
Japanese Beatles happy -
They're World Cup winners.

I love a good breeze,
Heat and humidity tamed -
Nature's way to cope.

God may not bless us,
She knows how we treat the poor -
Who inherits, what ?

Time is a waste'n,
Each day we're deeper in debt -
Cut up credit cards.

"Swords into plow shears",
Good advice then - better now -
Wage War - widows weep.
