Past understanding,
Aging adults sniveling -
Congress in default.
Knock knock, who is there ?
A dysfunctional congress -
And we pay these guys.
Drawn and then quartered,
Our planet in steep decline -
Zealots rule the Earth.
Faith an illusion,
Fostered on us by zealots -
The weak are controlled.
Washington's inept,
Our financial house crumbling -
Damn the torpedoes !
My flowers wilting,
Draught and heat sap their color -
Watering's not rain.
